Performance

Sonance’s CT-8 and CT-10 are high quality, wide dispersion loudspeakers designed for use in commercial installations. The Patented Planar Diaphragm Technology™ radiates sound in a 140° hemispherical pattern with smooth, even coverage. This dispersion characteristic allows the speakers to be spaced farther apart than conventional speakers, reducing the total quantity required in an installation.

Aesthetics

The flat Expanded Polystyrene ® [EPS] loudspeaker surface may be finished with water soluble materials such as latex paints to match almost any decor or color requirement using conventional brush-on, roller or airless spray application systems.  The concealed mounting hardware on the CT10 results   in   a   more   discreet   appearance   than   conventional speakers.

Installation

The CT10 and CT8 Loudspeakers are transformer-coupled, with 0.5W, 1W, 2W, 4W, 8W and 16W taps as well as an 8-ohm bypass. They are mounted into regular or suspended ceiling tile systems and will retrofit into almost all existing standard 8” diameter speaker openings. The CT8 is installed with standard screw-type, while the CT10 uses torsion springs.  Optional tile bridge, backcan and mounting accessories are available for both models.

Performance

Sonance’s CM660 and CM860 are two-way speakers designed to offer the highest fidelity for foreground music, public address, and paging.  The CM line of speakers are used globally in airports, hotels, boardrooms, cruise ships, casinos, convention centers,    restaurants,   offices,   houses   of   worship   or   retail applications.

Aesthetics

Sonance CM speakers feature perforated aluminum grilles that are weather-resistant and can be painted to match the installation surroundings.

Installation

Sonance CM speakers are designed for commercial installations and are transformer-coupled, with 60W, 30W, 15W 7.5W taps and 8-ohm bypass that are selectable from the speaker’s front baffle. An integrated, deep-drawn steel backcan and integrated RotoLock® clamps allow them to be installed in new construction or in retrofit applications. The baffles are constructed from fire-rated ABS that meets UL94V-0. They are shipped with a C-shaped support plate that reinforces the ceiling material and tile support rails that can be installed in new construction or in retrofit applications.

Performance

Sonance FMS speakers feature an all-weather construction to deliver years of reliable service. All FMS models feature a polypropylene cone woofer and a polyurethane dome tweeter that ensure superior sonic performance. With three different sizes and two different colors available there is a speaker to suit any commercial outdoor application.

Aesthetics

Sonance’s FMS speakers are available in a white or black sealed polypropylene enclosure with a matching perforated aluminum grille. The weatherproof construction allows them to be hosed down for cleaning.

Installation

The FMS series established a new benchmark for ruggedness, weather resistance, ease of installation and performance in commercial/professional outdoor speakers. Featuring the exclusive FastMount bracket system, speakers pivot up to 180 degrees on the included bracket while remaining less than 1" (25mm) from the mounting surface. FM speakers are transformer-coupled, with taps for 70V / 100V operation and 8-ohm bypass. Sonance’s exclusive Protected-Access Connection Terminal (PACT) protects wire connectors from weather corrosion while making installation easier. PACT accepts input cabling via concealed, weatherproof, rubber-grommeted rear-panel ports and directs it to the front, baffle-side of each loudspeaker.
